Probably the most popular page of the blog I set up for the i9 3G is the page that goes over all of the phone‘s specifications. Often, sellers can’t or don’t include every single detail about the phone, so in the following article, I’ll go over the highlights and questions that I find that most people want to know.
What’s So Different About The i9-3G?: Before I get into the minute details, I’ll go over what most people feel sets this phone apart and is upgraded from the regular i9 and other popular CECT models like the SciPhone. Size, Features, Sim Slots, Dimensions, Etc.: First off, this phone is similar to the older i9 in many ways. It is quad band. It supports the latest edition of Java. It has dual sim active (meaning you don’t have to switch back and forth.) It has all the goodies like web browsing, email, sms, mms, Bluetooth, web cam, radio, digital camera, etc. It also has the shake and tilt feature. Now, onto the specifics.
This phone‘s dimensions are 110 X 60 X 11.5 mm. It weighs 100 grams with the battery. Speaking of the battery, you can remove and change the battery on this phone yourself. It has a QGVA 3.2 inch touch screen that has 260 K colors. It holds 300 groups. It can hold tons of ring tones and wall papers and it supports polyphonic, mp3 / mp4 and midi formats. It gets on the Net via WAP or GPRS, although you can use the very fast, very good Java Opera Mini browser on it. It supports several languages, including English, French, Portuguese, Spanish, Dutch, Italian, Persian, Chinese, etc.
You can transfer data with this phone via Bluetooth, USB cord, or the memory card. This one has all of the basics like a calendar, notes, to do list, stop watch, alarm, hands free, voice recording / memos, world time, SMS group sending, etc. The talk time is about 23 hours, depending on the network. The standby time is about 200 – 250 hours. I find that the more I use the Internet, the less battery use that I get, but getting a spare battery is easy and cheap, so I do always keep one on hand. Still, it’s rare that I don’t get through a few days without needing to recharge.
Overall, this is an updated, newer version of a very popular, reliable standby. There’s a lot to like here and if you are in the market for your first or new CECT phone, this one is a good choice.

Ich habe wirklich lange nach einem neuen Handy gesucht. Klar war, daß es ein Samsung sein mußte !!! Style und Benutzerfreundlichkeit sind einfach bei keinem anderen Hersteller besser. Allerdings wollte ich nicht so einen “Klotz” wie das iPhone mit mir rumtragen und so kam ich auf das Corby 3G. Es hat ein wunderschön kleines Format, lässt sich auch ohne das Benutzerhandbuch selbsterklärend bedienen und bietet rundum alles, was ich mir von einem Handy erwarte. Zugegeben, das ist in meinem Falle nicht besonders viel, da ich mich auf SMS und Telefonieren konzentriere. Da es mein erstes Touchpad-Handy ist muss ich mich noch ein wenig daran gewöhnen, aber ich bin schon jetzt sehr begeistert von diesem Handy !!! Besonders hervorheben möchte ich die Sprachqualität, die im Vergleich zu meinem letzen Samsung Modell doch erheblich besser ist. Für stylische Frauen ist dieses Handy auf jeden Fall absolut empfehlenswert !!!

Ich habe das LG KM 900 Arena jetz ca. einen Monat. Bis auf die GPS-Funktion habe ich alles ausgiebig getestet. Mein Fazit: toll verarbeitetes Handy welches dazu nicht nur schick aussieht sondern auch noch viel kann.Die Bediehnung war am Anfang etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig. Hatte aber schnell alles im Griff. Schrift und Tastengröße finde ich in Ordung. Wer jedoch sehr große Finger hat wird hier vielleicht doch ein wenig üben müßen um alles korrekt zu treffen. Jede Berührung des Touchscreen quittiert das Handy mit einer leichten Vibration. (kann aber auch abgestellt werden). Der Touchscreen reagiert korrekt. Es gibt hier keine Abweichungen. Bluetooth und WLAN funktionieren ebenfals einwandfrei. Auch das fotografieren macht Spaß. Der interne Speicher von 7GB lässt genügend Platz für Bilder und Musik. sehr praktisch finde ich den 3,5mm Klinken-Anschluß für die Kopfhörer. Hier kann man sein eigenen verwenden. So nun zu den Sachen die für einige vielleicht störend sein dürften. Zum einen der Akku. Dieser hat bei ständigen rumprobiere so ca 3Tage gehalten. Im normal Gebrauch ca 5Tage. Für mich allerdings kein Problem. Und zum zweiten es gibt noch recht wenig Software (APPs) für das Arena. Man muß da ganz schön suchen.
